For the last couple of days, I have noticed the threads have been taking a lot longer than usual to load. The thread will begin to load, and then it "hangs" for anything from 15 to 45 seconds (more sometimes).

In the status bar at the bottom of the browser, it says "Connecting to www.networkn3.com" and remains displaying this for the whole of the "hang" period.

NOTE. That netwrokn3 URL does not respond to "pings" and "tracert" gets as far as Dublin, Ireland before refusing to respond further.

If this is an advertiser, then it appears to be having problems.

Yup, I was going to mention somethign soon. It's a bit frustrating as I'm simply not used to waiting for things to load on the internet anymore.

Yup, back working at full speed now. The ads weren't loading before (the video clip of 'Have I Got News For You'), so def something wrong there.

What were those ads advertising anyway? As I couldn't work it out, funny clip though.

Its loading faster now.

Here is what I think was happening. The browser was trying to connect to www.networkn3.com

When I check that website, it comes up with an error after about 20 seconds, sometimes longer.

The connection has timed out

The server at www.networkn3.com is taking too long to respond.
Whatever the Forum is trying to get from this website, its not getting it, but it is hanging the browser loading sequence while it tries. Eventually, the attempt to connect times out, and the browser continues to load.

www.networkn3.com must be one of the last things it tries to load, because the progress bar gets almost all the way across before it hangs.
