French oPS2M review

I got the official french PS2 Magazine today, and Rugby 2005 is reviewed. They dedicate two pages to it. Here's the summary (translation mine, pardon me

) :

GRAPHICS | 4 out of 5 :
"In contrary to the former opus, the modelisation is really clean"

SOUND | 4/5 :
"The comments stick well to action and the mood is worthy of stadiums"

PLAYABILITY | 3/5 :
"Handling is instinctive... But the gameplay is a bit thin"

DURABILITY | 3/5
"The lack of diversity of the movements can be boring on the long run"

PLAY PLEASURE | 3/5
"The game is enjoyable, more especially as rugby is rare on consoles"

SCORE : 14/20

"After a bad 2004 edition, EA converts the try with, this time, a well designed, dynamic and complete game"

The article seems to be written by someone who knows rugby, as he complains about simplification of the game, the lack of mauls and the lack of blood

That is a fantastic comment!

I'd agree with that, it does become boring after extended play! But leave it for a few hours and you want to come back to it!

I know stuff gets lost in translation, but I make that 17 out of 25.... anybody else?

No, the final score is not an average nor a total.

Either way, it works out as about 70% which is fairly average, but not tooo bad.
