Gatland gone

Even though he's not old Cheika already gives me 'yesterday's man' vibes. I do like listening to his interviews though.

If I were a Wales fan I'd also rather have Sherrat if he can demonstrate that the performance v Ireland wasn't a one off and can give Welsh rugby a lift in the next two games.

Cheika would be an absolute horror story, and the most WRU decision that has ever WRU'd...

I fully expect him to come in, complain about how **** things are, and be gone after the first summer tour and Autumn series leaving us coachless this time next year

The way I see it, Gatland did a great thing for Welsh Rugby, but when he was asked back too many things had changed, with the Team and with the WRU internally. A lot of things appeared to be outwith his control. He's probably damaged his legacy as well.
Also, the criticism from ex players was a bit of a stab in the back. And some of the support are a bit ungrateful also.
All glory is indeed fleeting.

It was within his control to not select three 12s in the same backline....

Sadly he’s yesterdays man and the thing you don’t mention is the game has moved on and sadly Gatland never moved with it.
