Good old days

When I first started playing senior rugby you could use your studs on players on the floor in offside positions in rucks. I miss that. If you went off your feet ,put your body on wrong side of put your hand in a **** you knew you was putting your body on the line.

I also miss the charge engagement in scrums.

I think I am just a dinosaur of rugby lol

The game today bears little resemblance to the one I played and watched in the amateur days (I was born in 1963). I miss the contest for the ball amongst the forwards, a real physical battle in all areas.
