How can I play J.Lomu Rugby on PC with XP ?

Anyone know if it works on Vista 64bit? Might buy a copy again for old times sake

I considering buying the game, but would the Jonah Lomu PS1 game work on a PS2?

Yes, with the right emulators you can play anything.

Yes.

Here's how to play JLR on PC:

1. Get the CD
2. Download DOSBox (http://www.dosbox.com/)
3. Open DOSBox, with the CD in the drive, and type: 'mount d D:\ -t cdrom'.

Alternatively, you can copy the contents of the CD into any other folder and type: 'mount d C:\Name_of_folder -t cdrom'.

4. type in 'mount c C:\'

5. type in 'd:' to bring up your newly mounted cd drive

6. type in 'setup' to start the install and choose any option other than network (which works exclusively for network games), and choose an appropriate sound driver.

7. You should be taken to your install folder, if not, just go to it by typing 'c:' to go to the C drive (or whichever other drive you used), then enter the path to the file 'rugby.exe', i.e. 'CODEMAST/RUGBY/RUGBY'

8. Now enjoy the game!

I did it on XP, but I expect so; it's DOSBox that's doing it, rather than Windows.

Cheers. I can also show you how to set it up so that you don't have to run through that whole process every time, and can just run it with a shortcut, and without the CD.

Just for anyone who's interested, I asked down on the Codemasters forum if the game could possibly be GPL'ed (made free), and the community manager said he'd pass the idea on to the Devs. I really hope they consider it; if we could get access to the game code, then would could edit and update it with everything people have wanted from JLR.

Anyway, here's the link to the thread:

Don't suppose you want to tell me how to run it off a short cut now that I actually have the game on pc :\
