So India didn't get off to the best of starts on their tour to NZ losing the opening Twenty20 match in Christchurch by 7 wickets.

India made 162 off their 20 overs but New Zealand chased it down with something to spare, with Taylor, Guptil and McCullum all contributing with the bat.

Next match is on Friday at Wellington.

Great match last night. I thought McCullum had stuffed it by not running the show better around the time when Taylor and everyone got out. But then he did extremely well under pressure to hit the winning runs off the last three balls.

wasn't he dropped on the last ball or in the last over, bet the Indians are kicking themselves over that

He looked like he was going to be caught but the Indian player didn't actually get a hand to the ball even though he did dive for it.

**** poor game by the Blackcaps last night. Fair play to the Indians though, they did well. We really needed to get Sehwag out early though.

another Tendulkar century seems to have put India in control of this test match, was only watching it briefly last night but they were saying something about him getting 100 centuries, presumably that's in all forms of the game but as they said in the commentary box yesterday, wow!
