Go on, enlighten us- What's the worst Rugby-based injury you've ever picked up? How long where you out for? Or are you luck and have never got one of any note?

Not me, but my dad played provincial. Went for an up and under and the guy went into my dad's thighs with his boots. Suffice to say, my dad had torn ligaments which ended his career.

Nothing too bad *touch wood*/nothing lasting, from Rugby
I've damaged the tendons in my shoulder, damaged my ribs landing on my shoulder (trying to stop myself hitting the ground/it hurting, ironically) the one above my floating rib isn't at the same level as the rest of my ribcage/it feels like there's a hole there, damaged the tendons in my wrist (other team knocked on, ref blew, i went to pick up the ball, their prop didn't hear the whistle, tackled me from behind, and both our weight hit my hand bending it backwards) - most painful thing i've ever experienced, i expected to look down and see my hand hanging off or something
