Ireland vs Barbarians

Tuohy has also been quite good. The lineout looks quite solid which is a definite plus. As a spectacle though it's worse than watching paint dry.

I am disappointed that the BaaBaas decided to kick for goal from 5m out in front of the posts. At the end of the day the match doesn't count towards anything, they should've gone for a scrum and a potential try

We lost this game in the first half. Some great covering tackle but to many knock-ons. A great come back if we had a full fit team this might have been a different story. Bench played a huge part for Ireland today. I wont copare this to Englands result because England were playing a very strong side while we were introducing new players. The barbarians had only been together for a week then aswell and they didn't goal kick like they did tonight.
p.s. thought scrum improved when Court came on

RTE's commentator (Hugh Cahill?) is diabolical. He hasn't yet realised that Ireland have a player in the sin bin

And mistook Julien White for Tim Payne!

What was going on with the Barbarian props? Barnes gets binned, White comes on, White stays on for Barnes, Barnes comes back for Johnston, then Johnston replaceces White. I didn't see any of them being treated for anything.

Considering Irelands team, I thought they played well. Pity about the knock ons but watcha gonna do.

Lads just in the door from the match.
I don't know what to make of it,
Sexton looked in pain going off the pitch in the warm up and well Johne Murphy ... I always praised his signing as I think he is a super winger and has a good try-scoring rate but tonight he impressed me massively again with last ditch tackle and well he had hunger but well I'm not sure is he going down under.

My views are:
-Cronin is going to be our #1 hooker soon he impressed me massively
-Ronan and Muldoon really excelled tonight and I hope management look more seriously at them.
-Reality is it took our experienced players to spark a fight-back and well Paddy Wallace really caught my eye tonight too
-Baa Baas really looked like a team fit for disco in 2nd half.
-Buckley did ok and showed his worth but our prop scenario isn't improving at scrum-time
-I still fear we'll struggle to win any game (including Maori game) on tour

Flannery, Horgan and McFadden are the latest to withdraw from the squad. Sexton also injured himself before the match.
