Issues running Rugby 08 on Windows 11

I could really do with some help as I’ve been trying for hours and hours. I initially tried to run the Rugby 08 rom download but I couldn’t get it to even boot. I then bought a Rugby 08 disk and tried to run it that way with still no luck.

Now I was able to run on pcsx2 but I wanted to install the mods so ideally I would like the pc version to run.

I’ve looked everywhere and haven’t been able to figure it out, following numerous guides everywhere to try and find a fix but still no luck. Any help would be really appreciated as I was planning a rugby 08 tournament with a couple friends with the current teams

(Also not the most tech savvy just recently got my pc so I’m still learning)

lol 4thly as well. so i start the game but the fake xbox controller doesnt work tried the ps3 and the ps5 controller both work splendidly well on everything else but this game seems how nuts pc is they want you playn the game on a bloody KB? well its back to pcsx2 for me in the mean time.

Your graphics card is too powerful. You need to download dvgvoodoo it works. I've got Asus rog ally x and it works. Look at tutorial on yt and it's very simple. I've commented on this same thing on another thread in this forum which has a link.titled Best Rugby 08 settings on DGVoodoo2?

Hi. How did you get your rog ally x controller to work? My buttons are all mixed up. I've resolved the issue with the game not launching by using DGVoodoo but now I'm stuck with trying to figure out the rog xbox ally x controller. It shows the buttons on screen when I'm in the game but the buttons aren't corresponding to the Rog buttons. Any helo woud be appreciated
