Japanese Players in Super Rugby

Fumiaka Tanaka and Shota Horie (both from Panasonic Wild Knights) have made their debuts for Super Rugby franchises (the Highlanders and the Rebels respectively). Personally, I think this is a great sign of the expansion of the Japanese game and, hopefully, a sign of things to come.

What do others think about these two players debuts?

Having these players involved in Super Rugby is certainly a great sign for Japanese rugby. Neither have had much of a chance to show their wares yet, but hopefully we will see a bit more of them as the season progresses.
