Sounds like Lambie is ok, but that was a red. Even if it was not intentional, it was dangerous.

And if decreeing that legal challenges for the ball become illegal when violent impact with the head is made is reffing on outcome, then it already is reffed on outcome.
Literally no one agrees. Shaggy trying to come off as impartial as per. Just because you get hurt doesn't mean it's Standers fault. It was a freak accident. Hope Lambie is ok, but if we send someone off every time a legal action leads to a player being injured then the game is ****ed.
Hitting someone in the head with your hip is not legal.

No mate. There's no rule about hitting players with hips. But the precedent is that if you're fairl and fully committed to the charge down you're not at fault.

Whether we like it or not, the evidence is pointing that contact sports which involve a lot of collisions with the head is causing irreversible traumatic brain injury in athletes. We need to change the culture in rugby so that players go into collisions with involuntary care towards the opponent's head. The problem isn't that Stander did it deliberately, it's that he didn't think about and adjust his approach in order to avoid the collision with the head.
Harsh on Stander, and I don't think anyone is particularly blaming him for anything, but the sport will be better for it in the long run.

Neither is hitting someone's hip on the air with your head. Imagine for a second the exact same collision ended up with lambie being ok and the irish landing on his neck. Would that be a red card for lambie?
Whatevs. The challenge was always a penalty minimum.

Have to say this is embarrassing for the Saffas. Ireland only 14 men, for 10 mins 13 men, and still winning What's happened to South African rugby?

If CJ deserved a red then Brown did in the 6n. I was on the wrong side of that argument and the precedent set is that what Stander did shouldn't have been a red.

The only positive we have right now is Mvovo, so far he has had a great game. No one else has really stood out on our side.
