Okay I've recently started playing club rugby after being hounded by school friends into joining their club, I went along to my first training session a few months ago and needless to say I've never looked back! However I find one of the areas I'm not so confident in is kicking, mainly out of hand as there's plenty of videos giving tips for conversions, but I've struggled to find any on clearance kicks, punts and spirals, so if any of you know of any or have some tips they would be greatly appreciated, Thanks. :)

The main tip, which will be one you've heard before unfortunately, is practice!
You need the movement to be fluid, so practise practise practise!

How are you dropping the ball onto your foot?
I used to drop it either on it's side or on its end which ended up being quite erratic, I drop it at about a 45deg angle now and find it flies much straighter now

However I'm not much a kicker, so someone else will be able to give more/better advice :D

Haha, I know practice is the best tip, and I do a lot of this when I can, I drop it at 35 degree angle and it seems to go pretty straight just not very far :( Thanks :)
