Both in terms of England having no stomach logo, and uniformity of premiership kits.

The BMW logo looks "better" because there's less of it - I wish we could afford to not have a shirt sponsor for the national team.
I'm obviously used to it, but it does make me squirm a bit when I think about it.

I think the home shirt will be unveiled tomorrow, I'm guessing it's not going to be much different to the current one - other than having a bit of red chucked in.

I'd like a England Home Shirt with a lot of red and a good design on the sides, and the sponsor and the number in blue:

For me, these designs have been the best, with lots of red. The latest Nike shirts and current Canterbury are too white, without red.

I like the CCC logo in a corner, almost hidden, it gives a touch of elegance. All Canterbury shirts should have the logo there.

Sharks and Reebok did that on the two most recent kits, looks quite good.

An England home shirt with any more red that can be seen in that glorious photo of
MJ lift in the World Cup would be a travesty. Well, it would make me die a little inside at least.

Its actually growing on me the more I look at it. Think credit has to go to Canterbury for not only taking history into account but also for bringing out something unique. No other Canterbury team will have that design

i assume this is the new template for CCC, not the stripes obviously but the collar/shoulders

I think that layout is necessary because of the stripes.

They can't put the CCC logo on the chest without putting another block of red there.
If they tried to continue the stripes on the shoulders, they wouldn't line up correctly because of the way the shirt is cut. (and they needed somewhere to put the CCC logo).

I'd be suprised if they did other shirts like that...


I heard someone suggest the "home" shirt will be the same as the current one but with red stripes like on the new training kit...

We'll find out tomorrow anyway.

I wish we had Canterbury. Everything they have put out for England has been great, even the LSD 7s kit.

If they wanted, they could make the logo as the shirt of North Harbour, and that way the logo would be visible despite the stripes. They wanted to put the logo in the corner.

I disagree, thin stripes would disguise the logo considerably.

They've done so just about every year for a number of years now.

The reason I like sone of the new Canterbury shirts (South Africa, the previous England shirt) is because they are quite plain and straightforward compared to previous Cantebury efforts. That new England kit however is painful on a number of levels.
