This Challenge was organised for the first time last season as a pre -season warm up game in Geneva Suisse, between 4 teams, Racing Metro, Montpellier, Harlequins, and Leicester. Montpellier came out winners after a vote by the supporters present, both French teams won their game.
This season it is being held in Grenoble on the 9th Aug, at the Stade des Alpes Grenoble and the teams are Montpellier, Grenoble, London Irish, and Harlequins, so if anyone is on holiday in the area around the 9th Aug make a note as last season there was some excellent rugby to watch and maybe the first outings for the new signings of all 4 teams.
