Too many threads get hijacked by a nationality debates, it seems to happen nearly for any debate on selection for any nation

I propose the moderators set up a new thread, which whenever a thread becomes another nationality debate, the posts get moved to a specialist thread for it

Well you've made the thread i'm sure the mods can just sticky this one and move these annoying debates into it.

If it's relevant to the thread in question, it won't be moved, as is the case with the current Lions thread.
