New prop

Hi long time rugby fan finally got to play rugby due to personal life. So I have now joined a local rugby team just up the road and currently playing as prop but I don't know other than scrimmage how to play the position and also do you think at age 34 that never played a match since secondary school should be playing rugby ?

I moved from utility back into the front row at about the same age as I could no longer run pass or tackle out wide any more due, to age weight and puff

Finally found a position where the ability to stand still was much admired

Put another 10 years on my playing career. And you get to meet some really interesting people

Find some gnarly old club stalwart prepared to show you some of the craft and accept that you are going to hurt like hell after for a season or two, and that there is always someone out there better than you
