I hope the Argies carry on improving, despite the political hostilities between our countries, when it comes to rugby that all goes out of the window and I am taking a lot of enjoyment seeing them climb the rankings. I remember seeing them lose so narrowly to the Kiwis in Buenos Aries in front of 80,000 ... all they needed was that kick to go out and they had the win, alas the Kiwis made them pay. Still though, great wins against England and others have helped them improve and they deserve it. Also, South Africa would go top if they won the world cup and I do think its deserved, the Kiwis will probably retain it pretty soon but if you chaps want to sit pretty on top of the rankings forever, then you are going to have to nail one of those elusive world cups. The rankings also are a pretty fair indication, as before this tourney, NZ have been unstoppable and even if England won the cup, they would (quite rightly imo) not overtake the Kiwis, not unless they beat SA by 16 points, which barring a red card, is very unlikely indeed. I believe they are true rankings as I think if SA win, they will deservidly be the best side in the world, but England won't be if they win, they have played poorly for 4 years and need to build a side again and there's no doubt in my mind that NZ are a better rugby nation than England at present. I think we do deserve our boost in the rankings though for showing how to play cup rugby, which a lot will say is boring rugby, when really its just tactical nous and having big ********.
