Saw a story that ex Palmerston North Boys High star player and NZ Warrior Ngani Laumape has been in talks with Manawatu and the hurricanes since he has been released from his Warriors contract.
given the departures from the hurricanes midfield there could be an opening for him there. Not sure how many watch the NRL but he has been a very good performer for the warriors, and has had a bad run of injuries this season. He would be exactly the player that Manawatu need in the midfield too, a genuinely big, strong, line breaking guy to run off Black. I really hope it happens.
