Wasn't it nice to see Reina give Johnson a congratulatory hug after he'd scored the third goal on Saturday. And to think they say football is losing it's sportsmanship!
I was like a pig in the proverbial on Saturday.....we bounced out the ground singing and hugging people, nothing compares to a derby win. We jumped in our mates car and scorched our way to Blundellsands for the second half of Waterloo V Penzance & Newlyn. They need our support even more than the blues do. The lads were 10-6 down at half-time but came back to win 19-16. It was such a good 40 mins, a real tough win, you could see the team growing in confidence as they built phase after phase. Cornish Pirates just seemed to switch off 'cause they were a big, strong skillfull side but Waterloo seemed to just not want to lose. Talk about being on a roll! Perfect, perfect day.
