He was a great player, though mired in controversy.

Still, very few darts players will ever be half as good as him. Hope he enjoys his retirement.

Lost his final match to a player who only turned professional a year ago. That's gotta hurt.

I still don't consider Darts a true sport and more of a "game". But still it has its pressure moments where the players have to deliver. And no doubt Phil the "Power" delivered most (apart from tonight) in his career.
