Plymouth Albion have sacked chairman of rugby Graham Dawe.
Former England hooker Dawe has been on the club's coaching staff since 1999 and will be replaced by former Exeter Chiefs head coach Pete Drewett.
The 52-year-old only stopped playing for the Championship club at the end of last season after a career which saw him win five England caps.

Plymouth have been struggling this season, so it doesn't surprise me too much.

I know Plymouth was missing a few of their Canadian boys at the RWC, who are impact guys and captain Sean-Micheal Stephen just returned to action from a hand injury so those were probably blows for early in the season, I doubt they are in much danger of relegation this year as they are a much better team than both Moseley and Esher.

Agreed, but the standard of rugby played at Albion this year has been dire.

I had heard there were financial problems at Albion - hopefully not as dire as those at Plymouth Argyle! Anyone know any more on that?

Dawe has been a great servant to the club - and to English rugby. He was unfortunate to be of the same generation as Brian Moore, otherwise he would probably have got a few more caps for England.
