PREM(iership) Rugby 25/26 Round 1

LRZ needs to be coming in field more, with the way Bristol are singing everything about in their half his pace/power could turn some of these half breaks into something, but he's just stood out on his wing
Pace yes. Power though? He's put on a bit of muscle in the misguided attempt at making it in the silly US Sport but Ibitoye would still put him on his arse

Looking forward to see this team with Chessum and JOC leading it

But you can see the leadership we have lost has made us lacking in composure

Was just about to say how good that quick restart was and tthheeennnn

I'd like to see that turnover again though, counterruck was strong but how'd the ball get out like that?

NO Scorigami

This is the 5th instance of this score

First Game: 26/10/97 Saracens 42-24 Gloucester
Last Game: 24/3/24 Bath 42-24 Sale

Well, as usual, we don't make things easy for ourselves. Sloppy first 40 on both sides of the ball, much improved second. Just hope the injury report isn't as bad as it potentially looks.

Jordan was excellent with the unexpected early switch to 10, Carrington looks like a real find, and Harding remains criminally underrated at his position. Only Sarries away next week, no probs....

Christ, 12 mins and AJ looks like his season is done
What happened to him? Hopefully it's not as serious as it sounds here as that might be career-ending for him given he's turning 36 in February.

Achilles went,
Wasn't even part of the play or anything, just dropped like he'd been hit by a sniper in the background

How many scores are a physically left though in the premiership that could reasonably be expected to occur?

On the twitter/x link in the sig should be the link to the full Excel document.

But in general, the majority of the "normal" scores are gone, however, there are many results where the losing team just score 5 available. Some results are available, but would need a strange set of circumstances to happen (11-all draw, for example)

Otherwise, big, high-scoring games are less filled out, but the trend over the last few seasons has led to more of those happening.

Didnt someone suggest Illone could become a traditional type of 6. At 6'3 and 18 stone he certainly looks built for it, and we've seen how strong he is. Could be an option coming up.

I mean thats what he was in the academy more a 6/8. I've always thought he could be very similar to Nyanga both in style of play and ability
