Not actually that confident about this one, our results havnt been great, have our best players missing and there are still alot of player that are new or breaking through this season. We have alot of work to do to get this team winning.

Sale Sharks Starting XV:
15. Joe Carpenter, 14. Tom Roebuck, 13. Sam James, 12. Sam Hill, 11. Byron McGuigan, 10. Robert du Preez, 9. Gus Warr; 1. Ross Harrison, 2. Akker van der Merwe, 3. Nick Schonert, 4. Cobus Wiese, 5. Josh Beaumont, 6. JL du Preez, 7. Jono Ross ©, 8. Daniel du Preez

Replacements:
16. Tommy Taylor, 17. Simon McIntyre, 18. Joe Jones, 19. Rouban Birch, 20. Sam Dugdale, 21. Joe Simpson, 22. Kieran Wilkinson, 23. Arron Reed.

Don't like Ross at 7 at all, it should be Dugdale - presumably JL covering lock from the pitch as well, which I never like (Birch has played lock before but really is just a backrower these days)

Good to see SiMac and Akker back in the mix, though

Honestly ill take the LBP at this point, we have lot pf good players and are rebuilding. Its not our season but we can build and improve to the towards the end. Have LCD Simmonds Slade Nowell and Hogg back soon plus i hear devoto is nearing a return, how long he lasts i have no idea but they will get us back on track amd add some experience.

I didnt watch the game, any young or new players look good for cheifs last night?

What a snipe from Wigglesworth, so bad from Irish's defence

Edit: looks like he's lost control of it but his fingertips are still touching it so try

People often say having a big physical centre is like having an extra forward but Bernhard Van Rensburg is taking the **** with it - chops down forwards with ease and now he's jumping in the lineout

No one tell EJ or we'll be putting a lock in the midfield for the extra lineout option
