i was wondering is there a way of replacing a team on rugby 06?



i know you can change players and edit team ratings using woosaah's editor, but is there a way of having the name changed, logo, kit etc.?

I've changed Sale Sharks to Wigan RLFC, replaced all of the Sale Sharks logos and miniflag to Wigans. Have done the same with Poland, changed Russia.



What you need is to edit this:

be2970b0ada8e42cf891ce60ffe69575.xml

Its in the data file.



Just change your team with notepad, but dont change logo, keep it to the original name or the game crashes if you change it as in my case

open the be2970b0ada8e42cf891ce60ffe69575.xml file in your rugby 06 directory with notepad and find the team you want. in your case steynboi look for

<team Index="38" CodeId="ID_LEEDS" TeamName="Leeds" TeamNameShort="Leeds" Abbreviation="LEE" FlagCharacter="f" HomeColour="243,243,243,255" AwayColour="12,36,137,255" Logo="leed" />

change the teamname, teamshortname and abreviation from leeds to harelequins but apparantly if you change anything else you will crash the game. make sure you back up your rugby 06 directory before hand. make it look like this:

Also steynboi, have you experience in creating new logos to replace other teams logos? I am trying to do what you are doing with leeds but I am replacing Treviso with Toulon and I need some logos made

Do you need a special program to get into the .xml files?
