The Rugby League International Federation (RLIF) has named it's annual awards recipients.

Cameron Smith, captain of Melbourne Storm, Queensland and Australia was named RLIF International player of the year after captaining all three teams to overall victories, as well as Hooker of the Year.

Of the nine positional player awards, only two went to non-Australian players, that being England's Ryan Hall (Winger of the year) and that piece of **** prop James Graham. I deadset would not feed that bloke.

Australian referee Ben Cummins was named International Referee of the Year

Hard to argue with Tony "The Cat" Felix winning Canada's player of the year, he seemed to be our best player on the field in almost all the tests this season, scored some valuable tries.

I think Cameron Smith full deserves player of the year, what an outstanding season at all levels.
