I found this on another forum and felt it was worth mentioning;

"Please excuse me for butting in - I'm sure many of you will remember ex-Gloucester and Sale Sharks player Robert Todd. Toddy was forced to retire from the game after he was diagnosed with skin cancer in 2006.

Earlier this evening I had the following message from him:

<blockquote>Quote:

Hi all - if you would like to sponsor a broken down rugby player in the London Marathon check out www.justgiving.com/roberttodd

Hope all is well

Cheers

Toddy is running in aid of the Professional Rugby Players Association Benevolent Fund which was established to provide support for professional players who have had to retire from rugby through serious injury or illness. Previous recipients include the Nick Duncombe Memorial Fund, Andy Blyth, Jarrod Cunningham, Alastair Hignell and, most recently, Leicester’s Matt Hampson.

A good cause and a good person. I hope you will consider supporting him in it.

Thanks for reading.
