Just read in the OXBM.

It will be backward compatible.

Thats a good sign, as they will look much better aswell.

I guess he means it will run on the XBox 360. Which you'd think would mean Rugby 2006 will run on XBox 360..

It mean's as stated above, Rugby 2005 WILL work on the 360 along with the other 200 ***les confirmed. And will work at a higher framerate and looks much better.

It still won't look as good as the PC version though I'd wager... anyway, who cares if 05 is gonna work on the 360 when 06 will be out by then?

Hey! I'll be getting the PS3 as well

. Well I will as long as it doesn't end up reporting a 15 percent malfunction rate like the 360...

I want to get one as well - but it will probably be 2008 before I can get enough money for one. I would love to get a PS3, it will be so much better than the Xbox 360. I think Sony is much more reliable than Microsoft anyway.

Microsoft will be the company for me but, when I get a 360 I will be trying Rugby 2005 on the 360 to compare performance.

It's a long shot but, it may add some more interest to the game once again.
