Well reasoned my ****. Ireland being in the grips of an injury crisis is completely overstated. Henderson is the only one that'll be missed.
Taking the players mentioned one by one:
Tommy Bowe: Had a shocking WC. Just not the player he used to be and thats because of injuries. Almost certainly been usurped because we have a rake of wingers vying for spots.
Dan Tuohy, Jack Conan, Tommy O' Donnell: All fringe players. Wouldn't be in a first choice 23.
Jared Payne: He's fine now. Had a decent game last week.
Chris Henry: Yeah he'd be sub back rower but Ruddock and Stander are very capable alternatives.
Robbie Henshaw: He'll be eased back in. McCloskey is crying out for game time regardless. Again with Fitzgerald and Payne we're covered.
Mike Ross: 35, great servant but Moore is simply a better player. The injury is a blessing in disguise if you ask me.
Johnny Sexton: His early season form was bound to be lacking given his new surroundings and the WC hangover that effected most of the senior players. At this stage of the season though its just become a tired cliche. He had a brilliant game against Ospreys a couple of weeks ago for example.
All of this is not to say Ireland are going to win the grandslam. The bit about trips to Paris and London being negatives are on the money no matter what way you look at it. Still, if Ireland do struggle it'll have little to do with with being 'racked with injuries'.
