Rugby goggles

I agree with the general idea that being able to see the game from as many different angles and perspective is exciting.
That's the bit which would most excite broadcasters. Imagine how many times Sky (or any broadcaster) would replay that George North try for the Lions v Australia, Brian O'Driscoll's try against the same team 12 years previously, Jonny Wilkinson kicking the drop goal to win the World Cup in 2003, Jonah Lomu trampling over everyone in the 1995 World Cup and more if they had first person footage!

Do you have photos of the rugby goggles? I support, I have myopia and I have to wear contact lenses and is very uncomfortable. I have to put them on before leaving my house and if I forget I have to play without these. For me it would be better to have special glasses until I do the eye surgery.

Cheers

Here it is

Is this actually serious? They seem like they'd just get in the way. Most players I know are fine with either contacts or nothing.

Ian McKinley's story:

Rugby goggles are allowing him get back into the sport. I hope it works out for him. He was a terrific prospect and many Leinster fans thought he was a better bet to break through at flyhalf than Ireland international Ian Madigan.

He also created a try for Dave Kearney in the same game but I can't link a second video.

Read this today. Hope it works out for him. At 1 stage he was looking to be a real challenge to Sexton.
