Prem Rugby has published its full salary cap report from last season, which for the first time includes club-by-club spending figures, showing the level of their spending in 2024-25 and more details of the under and overachievers in the league.
This club-by-club spending data has been shared internally for the past decade, but Prem Rugby has decided to publish it publicly.

So the light blue bar is the total spend on salaries for playing staff, the dark blue is once you've removed the exemptions like marquee player, injury dispensations, homegrown players etc

Also includes this (which will be scewed by the position played by marquee players - eg Russell, MSmith, Ford, & probably FSmith would all be marquees)

And finally, I want to draw attention to this section, right at the end
It felt pertinent this year that Bath, spending to the penny of what they are permitted, did not have enough to compete with Bordeaux in the Champions Cup semi-final, but as many bemoan England’s ability to win European titles, a few facts are important: first, the spending cap is obviously higher, with Toulouse spending about £11.5million and Bordeaux £9.7million on player salaries last year.

Second, English clubs are already meeting internal targets laid down by the men’s professional rugby board of having three quarter-finalists and one semi-finalist each year from the Prem, and a finalist every four years.

Good point, well made.
That was me making the same mistake as SaintJay and thinking of this year's squads. Equally, when did FSmith sign his current contract? was that ahead of this year or last? If last year, then it may not have been marquee level, if this year, then it wouldn't count to last year's cap

Exeter finished 9th and Saints 8th in the 2024/25 season
Looks like Bristol and, to a degree, Gloucester, getting bang for their buck last year

Signed start of October last year, so this season. Slightly off set with Furbank going next season I am assuming.
