So if Sam signs for Bath then where would he actually play?

At 12 you have eastmond who isn't going anywhere

And at 13 you have JJ, is Sam really been signed to anything other than 1st choice, so who will he displace?

Sam has been signed - we should see official confirmation of that in the next few hours (Aussie Monday morning).

I'm pretty sure he will be used as a generic "centre" rather than a 12 or 13.
Defend at 12 and play inside and outside going forward.
Unfortunaly for him I think JJ will get the cut.
Although there is a distinct possibility he will move to the wing in preference of not playing - since both Agulla and Banahan have been underwhelming at points this season.

If he plays in the forwards there isn't really any room at 6, there is an outside chance of him playing 8 or 4.
He will almost certainly be a centre though.
