Scissors vs Switch

Hi Guys,

I'm having trouble working out the difference between these two moves - this Scissors and the Switch.
I understand the switch as this: http://www.rugbytactics.com/move.php?ID=1

But when the scissors move was described to me it sounded the same. Can anyone point out the difference? Thanks

They are the same thing, unless your coach has something more specific to differentiate between the two.

Yup, pretty much the same move

I have seen/heard the scissors described as a longer move, with the switch a shorter movement though,
Sort of like this:

With the Switch, the ball receiver needs to be going the same direction (e.g right) with the ball carrier, then the reciever hit a quick switch . boom
