Hi I play for a college club team in the states. And was wondering if i could get some insight on the different versions of attack. Couple players and myself thought about running a 1 3 3 1 offensive attack but some other players want to run a 2 4 2. Im not to familiar with the 2 4 2 if anyone could give me some tips about it and also give your perspective on what you think would be best. It will be a tremendously help for our program here! Thanks!

I'm no expert but the 2-4-2 looks a simpler system to implement. You have 3 pods rather than 4 which should make it easier. Thats what I would do although there would be pros and cons to any system. I think most international teams play a 1-3-3-1 system these days but thats the highest level of rugby.
