Hello everybody
Is there any sport lawyer with experience in rugby issues from Cape Town zone,or do you know anyone ?
Thank you

I want to open my own team there with some players I know and I need of a sport lawyer for all bureaucratic procedures, the previous lawyers I found were very useless

And for the constitution acts to form the club ?
I searched for the help of a lawyer because the first time I tried to form the club I got a lot of excuses both by SARU,and WPRU members made the pass the buck tricks.
The lawyer I contacted some days ago look he doesn't want to help me,he said I can't participate to competitions because we're not affiliated to SARU,but well I contacted him just to help with affiliation not to play poker or have a braai.
Over that he said that players can't open their own team because the situation would go out of control, who said that ? we are free agents,we don't have contracts with any team,we can do what we want

Hi. I don't know what a 'sport lawyer' is or would do. I do know a lawyer specialising in Intellectual Property law that is a big rugby enthusiast and would probably be willing to help especially since he has recently started his own firm and has some time on his hands while developing his client base. He could probably help with a number of issues you will have to deal with if you don't have the time or necessary knowledge.

I'll PM you his details.
