I tend to steer away from the "quota" discussion. It definitely does play a role when trying to get the right balance of skills into a team, but to be fair we can only point to that if there was a definite game plan/pattern of play and a fair execution of skills. Coetzee has not created either a pattern of play that can be clearly identified or moved the players forward in terms of execution of tasks. With the negative influence our national government has over rugby in general, as well as a number of unions operating at a loss or have been liquidated, I don't see any form of quick fix. The "apology" offered by an incompetent coach and a reluctant captain is simply a plaster over terminal cancer.
