I like a Scrum like that when you know you're second best - almost a 7s hook, just kick it back as hard as you can and let the 8 or 9 deal with it, no faffing about making sure it's nicely rolled to the back, just get it gone before the scrum disintegrates

Dunno. Tbh they looked far better against NZ. They don't even look like competing. It's more how long can they hold S.A out.

There’s a non-zero chance here that at some point Rassie switches Esterhuizen to flank, and then subs off all the other forwards so that we have a fully new scrum. (This would mean bringing Reinach on to wing and moving one of the wings to centre).

Im not annoyed by the score, its literal men against boys, and i wouldnt complain being beaten badly roday...

What annoys me is the lack of basics, variety and sheer will.

Wales have kicked 4 restarts, all 4 have been in the same spot (except for the one that went out) uncontested and allowing a 120kg back rower come at the chasers!!!!

Lakes lineout has been shite for years, the only platform we get and he fucks it. Hes not improving there! Defencive lineout, we arent competing whatsoever, meaning SA are playing the ball 2m their side lol, its easty frwe ball, just one odd challenge would keep them honest!!!!

Murray hasnt caught a single contested kick all autumn, his boots shaly, hes a speedbump in defence, his only strength is chaos in broken play that you dont see at top level rugby, what right does he have to still be playing FB?! His selection is crazy!!

To keep conceding clean line breaks up the middle, to concede on first phase and multiple times from the ruck picks is criminal. These are the things that as a defence coach are sackable offences!!!

There is little we can do about rhe scrum (-40 odd kgs) or power game in defence, but at least make them work for their scores in the corners.

Wainright, Mann, Lake, and possibly Hawkins are throwing themselves around defencively, but outside that...

What annoys me is SA arent playing great, arent trying things, they are just going through the motions, and thats good enough
