Wales v South Africa

Well...that was about as bad as it could get for Wales. They barely fired a shot. Completely outplayed in every area. I know they are missing some players, but you'd have expected them to at least score.
Genuinely interested, why?

Confidence already at all time low, let alone playing the best in the world without some quality players who’ve been part of the team for the first three games.

All autumn wales have had poor attacking shape, playing the most physical team in the world who have a with strong defence.

Score makes total sense, weirdly feels like it makes more sense than the last 90 pointer against them really.

WRU messed up here for sure, this should have been a USA / portugal type game.

Wales attack has probably been the most positive aspect of the Autumn scoring multiple tries, especially 4 against NZ. Yes we knew the result coming into the game, but i at least expected Wales to compete a bit. Apart from one sustained attack they were defending for 80 minutes.

Hopefully Eben doesn’t get a ban. Mann tried to act tough down 73-0 and Eben’s thumb caught him as he tried to push his face towards the scoreboard.
That is probably the most charitable reading of it. Reality of it is it was a scum move and even tried to gouge him 2 or 3 times. Should be banned for at least 3 months.

That is the definition of as one sided game you can get. A complete training run from the Boks. Let’s not pretend otherwise, a Wales first XV would have been on the end of the same result, simply because, despite some green shoots in the attack, every single Welsh player has been dominated physically and in the set piece. Even though some were feeling positive after the AB test, my thoughts throughout were that if the ABs had taken a more direct approach rather than going for the wider channels before earning the right, their dominance would of been more notable, as Wales simply have no power or Jacklers beyond Jac Morgan. However, like the Pumas and the Boks, the ABs were so dominant they had the right to do what they wanted when they wanted as they were so dominant.

Wales now have the six nations, where they go from here? I genuinely have no idea. Expectations will need moderating though, Wales future is competing with those in a competitive 7th-13th in the world, the top 6 simply have moved too far away from them.

England and france up next hahaha

Realistically, WLes are hoping to build something that resembles a game plan, with a coherent strategy and a squad that looks like it could settle and work toward the RWC...

Wales will be targetting Italy to try to make a statement performace

There’s one thing you can say for Wales is that they’ve always been a team of impressive ups and hellish downs given the size of the country. They’ll find the up again, the issues off the field will dictate when.

Some nice trys at times, but I’m talking about general shape, understanding, running lines etc. Getting those basics right under high pressure. It’s all a bit headless chicken and that’s no surprise given where they are / change of coaches. I was expecting today’s result completely.

If you look at our attacking weapons out wide, Dyer, Murray and Roberts are all chaotic, Llewellyn looked like a cooler head at 13 in both defence and attack.

I like you wasnt expecting much in the way of scoring, i honestly wanted to keep the score under 50, SA, rotated team, end of tour etc... but theybreally fancied putting a foot on the neck, as seen by Rassies antics, and Eben late on.

Etzebeth will be nicely rested for the next RWC. But why?

Suspect nilling Wal will have been the Boks prime objective. A lot of their attacking play was actually pretty poor, too much showboating and inaccuracy.

The bomb squad coming on at 0-49 is beyond cruel.

Match that never should have been.

Men vs pre pubescents.
