And this ambiguity is tricky cause it used to blackmail people, especially in france, where there is a huge stigma around what happened during the 2nd world war and NOTHING can be discussed with the jewish community... So I understand your warning, but since i left the mother country, i have found that we are one of the only country to stigmatize it like this...
