If he doesn't convert effectively then, imo, it'll be Mounga on the bench. I expect him to overtake Sopoaga and even seriously challenge Barrett by the 2019 WC.
Yea if I was to actually make a serious prediction for the 2019 ABs 23, it'd be: 1. Moody 2. Coles 3. Franks 4. Retallick 5. Whitelock 6. Squire 7. Cane 8. Read 9. Smith 10. Barrett 11. Ioane 12. SBW 13. ALB 14. NMS 15. Smith 16. Taylor 17. Moli 18. Tu'ungafasi 19. Tuipolotu 20. Savea 21. Perenara 22. DMac 23. Laumape 22 and 23 are the hardest to predict imo. Sops, Mounga, Dmac, maybe even Perofeta all in contention for the reserve playmaker. Jordie, ALB (if Crotty is still starting), Laumape, Tamanivalu and a bunch of others could all be right in the mix for no.23. A lot depends on how DMac goes at 10 for the Chiefs. If he doesn't convert effectively then, imo, it'll be Mounga on the bench. I expect him to overtake Sopoaga and even seriously challenge Barrett by the 2019 WC. Also if Dmac is on the bench then no.23 will definitely be a midfielder. If he isn't, it could be an outside back, which would put even more people in contention...
