With Youngs at 9 we can’t compete with Ireland. I’d love it if we could but he’s so slow that the entire of Ireland would be back in their defensive line before Youngs has his hands on the ball.
I know what you mean, but I guess what I’m saying is we’ve hardly given him an opportunity to show his wheels have we?I mean...show what?
His form for Irish was poor this season, realistically he shouldn't be in the squad - he's there because of two highlight reel wonder tries, but you can't expect him to produce one of those every game
Whilst I wouldn't have been against him being on the bench Watson/Daly/Lawrence are all far more likely to feature in the big games so need to game time more ATM
Almost certainly. There’s nothing at stake. You never know, Youngs normally has a blinder of a game every other season or so - maybe this'll be the one

'Circus' around son Owen is 'disgusting' - Andy Farrell
Ireland coach Andy Farrell says the "circus" around his son Owen, the England captain, is "disgusting" as World Rugby appeals against the decision to overturn his red card.www.bbc.co.uk
Papa Farrell defending his son. No surprise. But no comment on his tackle technique.
To be fair the witch hunt against Farrell is over the top. He did not rescind the red card himself, and players with similar reputation get no where near as much as flack or air time than he does. You’re constantly berating England, but I feel I have to respond to you every so often, just so you lift off those blue tinted glasses of yours every so often. He's tone deaf

I do partly agree with your assessment of the furore etc.To be fair the witch hunt against Farrell is over the top. On to the match, I won’t be watching as I’ll be pre occupied by reading a book. No interest in Borthball until I have to watch it during the World Cup.
Agreed. He did plead not guilty which is a rarity in these cases. So he does deserve some flak.
By pleading not guilty was he risking a longer ban?He did plead not guilty which is a rarity in these cases. So he does deserve some flak.
That's essentially what I meant, he should have kept out of itHe's his dad FFS
Stupid story to run in the first place

Farrell Snr refused to comment on the incident in a professional capacity and then stood up for his son. Any criticism thrown his way just proves his point really. That's essentially what I meant, he should have kept out of it
