Champions Cup 24/25 - Saturday, 24 May

That could easily have been red, full tilt jumping knee over a player who's on the floor? Also should have been yellow for not 10 from Mitchell quick tap.

Saints fans must be seething.

Yes. You can't even jump into tackles.

Jumping into tackles is massively different

But where is the rules of going over the top of someone on the ground

I mean when it's played in real time it's looks like he's just focused on the ball completely and Furbank timed it badly with leaning up

Like is there a rule about going over the top of a player?
Oh, I don't think he's gone to knee him in the face, but if I'm chasing that ball I don't want to increase my chances of falling over by having to negotiate a body on the floor.

At first watch I though Furbank had been a bit naughty and tried to take him out.

9.11 (a) Players must not do anything that is reckless or dangerous to others including leading with the head, shoulder, elbow or forearm, or jumping into, or over, an opponent

Might want to look at law 13. Players on ground in open play are not considered part of the game.

Which is why no penalty was called. Like calling a scrum when a knocked out player doesn't roll away from a tackle.
That’s a different situation in you situation above body’s are littered everywhere in this taking the scenic route rather than hurdling would Mel very little different there wasn’t much to navigate.
