Who knows where we'll be in a year or so, but as of right now I'm more interested in the ongoing development of Heyes, AOF, Fasogbon and Sela than I am with a risky return to Sinckler.
Im with you here...leave Sinkler abroad, let the youngsters with big potential come through.

I think he'll have learned a hell of a lot. The question is whether he'll be able to apply those learnings.

I'm all for players experiencing new things and taking themselves out of their comfort zones.
Arundel will have to put himself in the frame with some top performances for Bath next season. He's got a host of VERY good young wingers ahead him and to be honest bar 2/3 worldies he's done nothing to warrant being picked for an England squad.

Next season he has a big job.

Nations cup for next year will summer matches of Fiji in Europe (France or England most likely and South Africa and Argentina away and then New Zealand, Australia and Japan at the home in the Autumn. In 2028 it will be New Zealand, Australia and Japan away (Japan maybe in one of the other two) in the summer and South Africa, Argentina and Fiji at home.

Im wondering if SB is more interested in Donoghue being the potential full back to challenge Furbank as the playmaking 15.
Or the versatility to challenge Marcus as Furbank's backup.

Either way, it's far too early for him, and we're only really talking about him at all because we'll be missing Smith, Smith, Farrell & Simmonds (& Furbank?); leaving us needing 2 of Bailey, CAtkinson, Donoghue or Benson to take alongside Ford (who could very well be lost to the Lions at a moment's notice).

TBF, when you're looking at your 9th&10th choice options at FH, it's not a bad stable

100%!
We are developing quite a collection of talented 10's all at varying stages of development.

Let's see how they develop when they are actually starting

Atkinson for example is hardly a name that makes me feel confident if I saw him starting in an England shirt

Like Bailey or Donoghue will be out of the 10 equation next season with Russell and Carreras starting the bulk of the games most likely. Which one will take that 22 shirt?

Its funny it's always been a big strength and a weakness, so many options that a couple of bad games and player can be gone, which leads to alot of depth rather than smaller teams who invest and commit to a player to develop them.

Doesn't apply to this situation as it's different but we build this depth when we can (which is a good thing) and people will start calling to get the kids in a the drop of a hat.

Absolutely.
We know we have 3 crackers in Ford, Fin and Marcus. The latter two will be around for years. So it a case then of seeing who of the numerous 10s coming through can add to the depth and who are prem players at best.
Atkinson may well be in the prem player category.
