What's your squad look like?

Might have been linked already but my first time seeing it. Seems like the individuals think a lot differently to any nay sayers (who've likely never experienced emigration and are at least a couple generations removed from it).

One of my least favourite conversations in the sport but it's nice to hear views from the players who are closely analysed.

James Lowe is Irish now, you are factually wrong if you say otherwise.

Hopefully this is the last tour so we don't have to deal with this whole boring ass circus again

"My wife and I are super happy with everything Ireland has given us and we don't see ourselves moving. We've got our residency and I don't think you are going to get rid of us any time soon," he added.
I would put money on him doing a CJ Stander as soon as he retires, tbh, but what else is he going to say with a microphone in front of his face?
"Sure I've played against the Lions representing my home nation and heritage before, but the money is so good!"

Yeah. Also interesting to see there is a definite distinction being made between Bealham's full call up vs. George and AOF simply being added to the training squad.

A lot of people/outlets reacting like they’re in the touring party. They might end up there, but as of right now, they’re just there to help facilitate training for the Argentina game.

You probably a minority. Majority of people believe you have to be born in a country to represent them at sport.

I'm possibly being pedantic here, but it's not uncommon for birthplace to be irrelevant to someone's culture and national identity.

I must have missed the outcry when Eoin Morgan captained the England cricket team.

It also makes me laugh when players are only supposed to play for their country of birth when in many cases that country had their opportunity and rejected the player. So rejection only works one way.
