England vs Argentina - 05/07/25

Feels like we've dragged them down to our level and are getting beaten with experience. 1 drop goal aside, we've been second best all game.
I don’t know about that. We’ve barely had the ball and on the few occasions we have, I’ve been pleasantly surprised about the speed of ball/ambition.

We’ve defended very well and are fronting up well. To keep hem scoreless with a good 7mins or so with 13 is impressive IMO.

Bye bye Carreras. Don't use the number 10 anymore please. Good trip tu your Home, and if You can, let Bertranou with You.

True but it feels like we're just about clinging on preventing a try whilst Argentina feel like they are just on the verge of scoring. The pressure is all on use and we only need to slip up one of these times and we're then chasing the game.

I mean, they've had all of the ball, but what have they actually done with it? How many times have they gone beyond 5 phases? The closest they've come to scoring is from close range pick and goes. Even when we were down to 13 I didn't feel like we were massively stretched.

I'm not saying we have done much, but I feel like they're mostly getting credit for possession.

Well that certainly was a game of rugby...

positives, are goal line defense, when we had the ball we looked like we were at-least trying something, which is better than previous years when we were headless chickens with the ball.

The team is relatively new, lots of players missing to the lions/injuries. the fact we still in the game at half time is still better than i hoped for after seeing argentina vs lions

Good defence. Not often you see a team that much of a beating and be 0-3 up.

Lions could have done a lot worse than take Willis. His carrying in heavy traffic is superb.

Slade doesn't look at this level anymore if he ever was.

thats a trick question, its the welsh....
No-one can hate their own team like a French crowd.
Just not this month

My VPN is really screwing me today, so I'm watching on Canal+ instead. Commentary is helluva fun, even though I've no idea what they're saying, they just adore their job.
My HT entertainment has been highlights from NZ v France, and I just know they're saying "**** you, kiwis!"

Spencer needs to be hooked ASAP. He hasn't managed a box kick over 10m with a chaser available and his passes are as reliably shite as ever for England
