The Irish will think they can win this one. They might be the only ones thinking that, but the weather’s probably more in their favour than France’s.

Commentators seem confused about where they are - you'd think they could tell the difference between Sunderland and Exeter (I'd guess she was trying to say Sandy Park, and just failed)

Ireland by far the better team so far, France haven't looked right since the first kick receipt lockup, think it might be a case of France just needing to find the step up in intensity which Ireland will already have had due to their clash last week, conditions probably don't favour France's running game either.

Helps to be the team in possession, but yes, absolutely
Absalutly in does but if you knock it on or throw it out within 2 or 3 phases every time you won’t be in possession long, Ireland dealing with the kicks much better not sure if that’s the conditions or if they just make their kicks harder to gather, don’t recall seeing France struggle this much.

Sounds like the wind is very much one-way.
If that's so, then with the wind, dominance, and yellow card... Ireland would have been wanting significantly more than 10 points from 30 minutes

It's to allow for visibility with long hair.
That makes a lot of sense, was trying to think what it would be (not wanting to print on the GPS or something)

Really like the Irish commentator this game - hopefully other tournaments/comps are watching this world cup and seeing how much more entertaining the commentary is when you've got someone actually excited about the sport
It was the same with the South African commentators commentating the England tour over the summer

That final passage will raise the French spirit and do wonders to reduce the remainder of the YC time, could be the start of the turning point.

Unfortunate for Ireland that they used up a lot of the yellow card without scoring there but they’re looking good and should have the fitness to keep it going in the second half.

And the American and French commentators.

I've missed the last couple of minutes - quick video call with my brother, who's a mere 80 miles into his 2-day run (Ilfracombe to Plymouth)
12 to go

Mere 80 lol, that’s epic, I was training to do a 50k ultra prior to injury I thought that was bad enough, fairly hilly mind.
