SF2: France v England; Saturday, 3.30pm; BBC1

We know England can win, but they can't afford to start that slow next week. While they should celebrate, they also have a lot of prep to prepare for next week.

Really enjoyed that game, not watched much Women's rugby before last week but it is good. I thought Botterman would get Woman of the match especially after getting 3 or 4 turnovers and some gpod hit tbh but Kildunne is great.

It's often a better watch and more fun than the men's game imho. There's the occasional outbreak of kick tennis, but milking pens to try to kick three points, grinding through 39 phases and single figure scorelines are largely dead in the water.

Just watched the highlights having barely watched the last 20 due to family commitments, whilst England would have wanted the attack to be slicker at this point of the tournament, the defence other than getting broken a bit frequently on the outside looks pretty good, the stats mostly favoured France the scoreline really didn’t reflect that and probably flattered England to some extent as well but they got it done and fairly convincingly on the scoreboard, was it just me or did Herd play pretty awfully, the usually pretty good but today just made too many mistakes and just seemed a bad day at the office.

She was pretty bad. I thought Muir, Aldcroft and Matthews were rather anonymous compared to their usual standards as well

Just got back from the game, conditions were atrocious. Very wet in the first half and very windy in the second. I'm in love with Sansus, she's incredible. France will be disappointed with that second half though. Reffing was poor for both teams IMO, England really stepped up and stopped over-playing. Ward, Botts and Kildunne very impressive.

Noisy, packed stadium. Good vibes. Nice day out with a diverse crowd all having fun. On to the final (although I won't be there, Bristol v Leicester is my rugby fix for that weekend)
