Most concerningly is the lack of Captain Spencer - hopefully it's just rotation, but home against Gloucester is an odd time for that.

Really? I think it's a great time to rotate, Gloucester arnt great in defence and you've just added Russell, with Reid who's been going well, T Du Tout and Santi Carreras on the bench... You'll be fine.

He got a bit of a knock last week didn’t he so maybe just feel on balance sacrificing one game to keep him fits better than risking it.

The last Newcastle Falbulls lineout was one of the worst I've seen all year. Yikes.

Why sack Dimes if this is the result?

We love them at Bris.

Unfortunately a few whiney fans were listened to and we now have more games on a Saturday.
Stadium location makes it a nightmare for Sale, but we know we can't compete with football (or grassroots rugby) over the weekend so persevere with it

It was very strange that I can’t quite get my head around it in a season or so maybe, considering how well the guy has done over the years whilst being heavily under funded I really wanted to see what he could do with a team who had the budget and his trade mark grit.

Really pleased with Bamber's progress this season - considering how late he got into the sport his setpiece was always the concern (wasn't bad, just always a question mark over how comfortable he was there) but this season he looks very good at the lineout and maul - noticeable improvements from last, where he was an option rather than a weapon
