PREM 25/26 - Round 4

Does the law about lifting a player above the horizontal apply to rucks? If so there could have been a penalty to Bath a few phases before the end. Oh well, these things get missed and Bath had a few things honour way.

Yeah, saw that, but honestly, the refereeing was absolute tripe all day, so one more either way was no surprise. Not biased, just random decisions.

How he could give a scrum penalty when there were obviously offences both ways at the same time is a complete mystery. TJ giving it one way and you see it the other? Reset, surely?

That's such a BS penalty try

I hate that being a penalty regardless, cause TOF only has eyes for the ball and as he jumps for it someone else jumps over his back and eats **** in the collision - but I can accept that that's the laws as they stand, biggest jumper gets the rights to the airways

But he wasn't collecting that ball even if TOF is watching from the stands, he's missed collecting it cleanly before the contact

Yeah, I think you've been on the receiving end of some dubious calls, but Sarries are looking very good now against 13.

I know it's not particularly insightful, but Caluori is having a blinder again.

Just played absolutely shite

Cant believe we bought TOF back on after his card, he's actually been worse since then than before

We've also lost both of our senior looseheads this game so not sure who we put out next week - guess AOF moves to start at 1 (ironic after him not being registered as a loosehead), but then with WGJ banned we'd be left with only one tighthead, so screwed either way

Considering I thought that was going to be a very close game, that was a fantastic result. First 20mins we were a bit shaky, but then found our footing and never looked back. Sale really struggled with those high balls and Noah racing in. What a quality addition he is, the vertical lift, the side step, acceleration, and got under the skin of a few Sale players but didn't react, remained composed. Even when it didn't come off, you could see him drawing in an extra player to create that gap to punch through.

Slightly soured by the news that Willis is heading back to France to join his brother. Big loss for Sarries and England.

The worry for me about Willis, is that he thinks he does not have a future with Engkand up to RWC.

Really enjoying these when Sarries won but please say Quins did something similar last week.
Quins had a balloon popping 😂

Even in defeat, Sarries social media had this as a backup though...

Ultimately the game needs to be pushing out and the main route to market and younger audiences is going to be through social media. And it works, the conversation and engagement these videos generate demonstrates it.

Well that either makes him stupid or gutless … he was in a great position to cement himself as the first choice 8 and instead he’s chasing cash and sunshine.
