Is Rice honestly the best England have for corners and free kicks? I rarely see him beat the first man. Wasted so many opportunities this tournament.
Beckham wasn't great at beating players

The trick is being accurate enough to bounce the ball off Kane's head and into the net. Harry rarely knows what happened

To be fair, and I think Rice is one of the most overrated players on the planet, but he is, usually, a very, very good set piece taker.

Definitely looked like studs down the back of Guehi's leg. Wonder if it's similar to Messi and Balogun with VAR not being consistent.

Feels like Norway have more players out there, on attack they always seem to have an extra man free to cross in, on defence they smother every one of our options

To be fair, Harry Kane was never getting up and chasing. I’ve seen continents drift faster than he runs.
True but him selling so hard meant everyone else stopped for a fraction expecting the whistle

Doesn't the ball have an impact sensor in it?
I've seen the blurry clip that's supposed to show it hitting the camera cable but I can't see it, doesn't look to change path or change it's spin - there was a load of controversy in the NFL about a kick hitting the camera cable and then a different angle showed it didn't actually hit it

On top of a blatant penalty not being given.

Ball 100% changes direction when it hits the screen there for me.

Argentina got a very generous call v Egypt.

I don't want England to win purely for the craic, I genuinely don't care - you just don't see those calls going to small teams though.

Says enough at who is unbiased if you think that's a pen lol

Bored now of the troll who doesn't care from the country that can't even qualify.

Been watching footie since i can remember. Not gonna say that was the most scandalous decision in the history of the sport (might have missed one) but it is definitely a contender.
I cant think of a single case in a world cup as outrageous as this one. I am listerally lost for words.

Sure, we've seen handballs, grabs, punches, terrible kicks, etc. But 99% of them were pre VAR. Refs had an excuse. I missed it, a played blocked my view, play was too far, i wasnt standing in the right spot, whatever. Here the ball hit the cable, the entire planet saw it, the ref was told about it, and nothing happened. It's even worse
