Anyone else notice the last try that Ma'a Nonu ran a good 25 maybe 30m with only one shoe on haha. Anyway I thought we were stuffed but it just goes to show you have to play 80+min against the All Blacks, alot can happen in 2min. Infront of a awesome crowd of 94,000 that must have been one hell of an atmosphere.

South Africa are an awesome team and I'm very happy that we have strong rivals like them it makes supporting the All Blacks so much better having to come up against the best in the world. Both teams oughta be congratulated because they showed us some very good hard fought Rugby right to the bitter end.

Completely agreed mate.

I think both teams are the way they are right now, because of the long rivalry we have. I think both will miss each other if/when SA decide to pick on the NH teams.

Hopefully, whether they move or not, they can sort out a way to keep strong.

Gutted I had to miss a great game, only seen the highlights but it seemed there were a decent amount of line breaks and 3 very near tries? Think it proves that attacking rugby is superior under these laws. Felt a tiny bit bad for the Boks and their supporters though extremely glad as a win would have undoubtedly led to I told you sos about the ref. Someone still claiming Springbok players are better? Up hill battle to win that argument.

well i would claim the boks are of equal quality and i reckon their got better depth as well, but the abs are the fittest team on the planet by some way,in rugby league the theory is polynesians lack fitness but not so in rugby

yup its all the ref and coaches fault, depth is even or favourable to the All Blacks and the frontliners are miles ahead.

when did i blame the ref or the coach, south africa's loose forward depth is second to none, same with the second row and half back, the only area i feel they lack is five eighth
i wouldnt say the frontrunners are miles ahead they had to score 2 tries in 2 minutes to win and its 3 a piece in the last two years now
just remember that those the gods wish the sky to fall upon, give them the mightiest egos first[thats at you woodwad]

what's last year got to do with this year, the abz have the edge by a ocuple of km's then lol,i don't think the boks could of come back like the abz did thats the all blacks never give up way.i reckon the aussie backrow are better then the boks. But i like that boks halfback he a star in the making...

AB's faaar too good for the Bok's. To win in SA, at altitude, with 94,000 people, John Smit's 100th game, and be behind at halftime and come back at the death with 2 tries (not drop goals or penalties) is mighty impressive. Add in the fact the Boks had been thrashed twice already by the AB's and this win just gets better. Mighty defensive effort by the Bok's but they paid the price towards the end when they ran out of puff. That Steyn guy must be gutted I think that ball he kicked dead from the penalty lost the game for the Bok's as well as the free kick they gave away after Carter had dropped the gigantic 22m kick. Good teams must punish and the ABs did just that.

yeah too right, i agree with cooky though smit should have been subbed earlier, the question is who will be the next team to beat the all blacks,i wouldnt go as far as saying the all blacks are miles ahead of them though

Those are the kinds of things players do when they are under pressure and physically exhausted.

You blamed the ref and coach by saying that the Springbok players are equal, what is your reason for their thrashing this year? Last year the All Blacks came much closer in their third home test and were not beaten by close to 20 points. They also had to win with kicking penalties mostly apart from intercepts and loose ball from mistakes gifting them the goal line, the reason this was able to win them the games was because of the stupid rules as much as superior line out, goal kicking and less errors. All Blacks being able to score 4, 4 and 3 tries against 0, 2, and 1 shows the have superior ability. If the All Blacks lost the way the Boks have this year I would admit the team I supported was inferior

Also, any thoughts on a sighting for Juan Smith? might be a little tough, but that wasn't an accidental nudge on the ref.

You dont, for any reason put your hands on the ref. Smith was never going to make the tackle but even if he felt obstructed you simply dont lay your hands on the referee.

That should result in a long long ban.

I agree that push looked bad but I only saw the one angle thats hard to see, he could have been injured badly. Hes gotta be giving away at least 30kg's to the players pushing him over and landing on top of him when hes upside down on his neck

they were beaten by a better TEAM,witha better game plan this year, last nights game could have went either way, last year the all blacks had no chance in all 3 games and the last agme flattered them, this year the boks were completely out played in 2 out of 3, but it still stands the ABs won but it say that the springbok players are inferior is ********, and i suppose it was the rules fault that the abs keep throwing intercept passes then last year?

Considering the ban Brian Mujati got for a very similar incident (which incidentally, also involved Nigel Owens), expect anything from six weeks to six months (the recommended minimum scentence).

Oh, what am I talking about. He's a test player. He'll get a smack on the wrist and a payrise.

A lot of it will be the mentalities instilled in the players. I suspect that had that been Jake Whites Springboks instead of PdVs "woah is me" Springboks, they probably wouldn't have let that one get away from them.
